Wabaseemoong Independent Nations is seeking a professional, organized, and welcoming individual to join our team as a Receptionist.
Position Summary
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, community members, and visitors and plays an important role in creating a positive and professional experience within the organization. This position provides front-line reception and administrative support while ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and inquiries
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars as required
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties
- Maintain organized filing systems and accurate records
- Support staff with document preparation and office coordination
- Monitor office supplies and assist with ordering when required
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma required; post-secondary education in Office Administration or a related field is considered an asset
- Previous experience in reception, administration, or customer service preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, friendly, and respectful approach when interacting with the public
Salary
Salary to be determined based on qualifications and experience.
