Chief and Council are advising all community members to stay alert as severe weather is expected to develop this afternoon and may continue into this evening.
Environment Canada has indicated there is a risk of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds up to 120 km/h, large hail, heavy rainfall, and possible tornadoes.
Please take precautions now:
- Secure any outdoor items that could blow away.
- Stay weather aware and monitor conditions often.
- Be prepared to seek shelter quickly if a warning is issued.
Strong winds, hail, and possible tornadoes can cause significant damage. Please check on family members, Elders, and neighbours who may need assistance.
Stay safe and continue to monitor official weather updates.
