On Orange Shirt Day we honour Residential School Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the families and communities who continue to live with the lasting and intergenerational impacts of the Residential School system. It is a day for remembrance, reflection, learning and continuing the work of reconciliation.

For Wabaseemoong Independent Nations Survivors, families and community members, support and resources are available every day. These include emotional and crisis support, cultural and professional supports, assistance for Survivors and families, Residential School records and information, and opportunities for Survivors to share and preserve their experiences.
